Dr. Monicah Waiganjo is a Fellow of African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD). She holds a Doctorate Degree in Entomology and a Masters in Zoology from the University of Nairobi. She has a wealth of research experience having worked as a Senior Crop protection research scientist for over 30years and an administrator in the Kenya Agricultural & Livestock Research Organisation (KALRO). Out of the research has emanated numerous publications in local and international refereed journals and scientific presentations in International and local Conferences. Dr. Waiganjo was the first County Executive of Agriculture Livestock & Fisheries of the County Government of Kiambu in the Devoloved Government, Kenya. She is currently the Director, Partnerships & Business Development at KALRO.
